Walter Schneebeli, an attorney and former Chief Tax
Assessor of the Zurich Cantonal Tax Office, established the Zurich-based
law firm in 1928. The practice bearing his name was especially dedicated
to tax, business and succession law consulting services. To this day,
our firm has remained true to its roots, continuing to focus on its
original areas of practice. Organized as a partnership, it now has
a staff encompassing attorneys, economists, certified tax experts
and accountants. We specialize in providing interdisciplinary solution-oriented consulting services mainly in the areas of tax, succession, corporate and commercial law, coupled with financial structuring and insurance consulting in the broadest sense of estate planning. Our firm’s accounting department also offers a variety of services, including financial and payroll accounting, allowing us to cater competently and efficiently to a multitude of business and fiduciary needs, another specialty setting us apart. As a team of professionals, we primarily serve resident individuals, families, and small and medium sized businesses, mostly located in the Zurich area and northeastern Switzerland. Although we prefer to assist them with advice and representation, we also conduct litigation if necessary. Our firm’s manageable size and the expert knowledge base we share mean that we constantly interact and exchange ideas among ourselves. This has made us adept at and accustomed to handling problems of a more complex nature, often working together as a team to develop solutions tailored to every situation. Benefiting from close personal contact with several advisors and the continuity of our client relationships, our clients can rest assured that they and their affairs are in the best of hands at KK&P and will be well cared for even, and especially, if a client relationship manager is out of the office. And in this particular sense, our firm embodies and gives real meaning to the some-what nebulous concept of a «family office». Recognizing the limits of our specialized resources, we readily draw on expertise as and when required from outside professionals in Switzerland and other countries, especially cooperating with other law firms, trust and accounting companies, banks, actuaries, real estate experts and further specialists. Together with these partners, we maintain an informal but solid network, always attaching utmost importance to independence and transparency. We see continuing education, training and specialization, even within our areas of expertise, as a natural and ongoing commitment, providing the foundation for high quality, full service consulting and legally sound advice. |
